Thank you for wanting to contribute to Empire LRP Map! Currently, two main contribution methods exist; "Point of Interest" and "Area" (explained below). All submissions should have a direct link to an Empire Wikipedia page so I can automatically extract information such as the location's name, description, etc.

Submitting a sub-header of an Empire Wikipedia article as a location is also completely fine; just remember to include the sub-headers ID in the URL. Sub-headers are denoted with a "#" at the end of the link and are nearly always the header's name with underscores instead of spaces. For instance, the link to "The Red Blade Memorial" in Skarsind is https://www.profounddecisions.co.uk/empire-wiki/Skarsind#The_Red_Blade_Memorial. You will be prompted for the link; please check it before submitting.

A "Point of Interest" is a single location on the map, like a mine or a town. These are displayed as markers. A "Point of Interest" is the easiest to submit. After entering the Empire Wikipedia link, you just have to select a point on the map and you are done. Clicking again replaces your choice, so keep clicking until you are satisfied.

An "Area" is shown as coloured polygons on the map and represents areas such as territories or nations. After entering the Empire Wikipedia link, you will create a polygon by clicking its corners in order around the map. If you hold down "control" while clicking, it will snap to the nearest corner of an existing area. Be careful; there is no undo button (yet)!

When you are done "drawing on the map", click the contribution button on the left (the one you clicked to get this popup) again to submit. The website will open your email client with an email ready to send. This email contains all information I need, but feel free to add/extend the message or anything you think is missing.
